Participation in EmotiLink OS is meant to be something you choose in full knowledge, not something you are enrolled in. That principle applies to this page too, so each way in below carries the phase it actually opens in, including the two that have not opened yet.

Nothing here is bundled. Taking part in one way never silently enrols you in another, and contributing more signal does not buy standing in the community.

Contribute
Contributing authorized signal is the first and smallest way in. Every signal type is its own permission, granted one at a time, for one application at a time, and revocable in a single tap. The raw signal never leaves your device. What you contribute is a summary of its rhythm, not a recording.

Phase 01 is validation. The first contributors are a small group, working with us directly, on the Tier-1 behavioural signals only: how you type and move, never what you type. - 02Open now
EmotiTribe
The wellness community around the infrastructure. Membership carries its own standing and benefits, deliberately independent of how much signal anyone contributes. Nobody should have to treat their inner life as their only asset.

Rewards
Consented contribution is meant to be compensated, with the terms visible before anything is shared rather than discovered afterwards.

Not live. The reward mechanism depends on infrastructure that has not been built yet, and we would rather say so than imply a balance is accruing somewhere. - 04Later phase
Join the Network
Running a Node is what eventually makes the network a network rather than a service: independent participants, not one company holding everything.

Not open. Today the Node software runs on your own device for your own benefit; operating one as part of a wider network is a later phase, and we will say when.
A network nobody has joined is an essay.
So we are starting with the unglamorous question: will a person take part voluntarily?
The things taking part will never quietly become.
These are constraints on us, not reassurances. Each one is enforced in the software rather than promised in copy.
Not a data sale
Raw signal never leaves your device. What leaves is a summary of its rhythm, and it cannot carry text, location or a recording. The format has no field for them.
Not all-or-nothing
Every signal type is granted separately. Declining one, or all of them, leaves everything else working.
Not permanent
Revoking takes effect immediately on the device, whether or not it can reach our servers, and anything already captured for that signal is discarded rather than held.
